We offer three Programs:
I. The ABC’s of ART
This Curriculum has been designed by Pamela Atkinson to develop the basic skills needed to create successful works of art and boost creative thinking. The program will introduce students to the tools, techniques, and principals of art.
II. Art, America, and the World
Our programs are designed to encourage individual expression and creativity. Students are introduced to art in its many forms and the relationships between Art, History, and Culture. Each program is designed to meet California Visual and Performing Arts Standards.
III. Discovering Ancient Greece
Students will be introduced to Ancient Greece and Greek culture by a modern Greek expert. History will be combined with art to help the participants understand in a creative way the importance of this civilization in the development of the western culture.
Pricing
Each of the Programs consists of 3 progressive class meetings which can be taught at Kindergarten through 8th Grade levels. The cost is $200 for any sequence of three classes.
- Extra classes are available at $70 per class. 38 students maximum.*
- *For classrooms with more than 38 students and not more than 42 participants a one time fee of $30 will be charged.
- *A qualified school representative must be present in the classroom at all times.
- * The lessons are one hour each, but the instructor requests access to the classroom 15 minutes prior and 15 minutes after class to set up and clean up.
